Drinking protein shake durin og after workout?
I prefer to drink a protein shake pre-workout like 30 min pre-workout
So that my body can absorb it before I start working out.
Sometimes I drink a protein shake during workout as well if I can’t wait 30 min with my workout.
I mostly do this if I have not been eating a meal for a while.
If you have been eating a meal like say 1,5-2 hours pre-workout, then a shake would not be necessary as a pre-workout shake.
The most important time would be post workout,no use to over use protein shakes
