How low do you go for weighted barbell Squatting?
Parallel/ Below Parallel/ OR Ass to Grass? What do you consider the most efficient for the glutes?
If you want to hit your glutes best possible, should should try to go parallel or below parallel or if you really can, go ATG (ass to grass, as low as you can so your butt touch your calves)
This depth does not suit everyone, and might mess up someones lower back really bad, especially if you are not really built for squat (long thighs and short lower legs like me for example) this will cause you to lean your torso too much forward and will stress your lower back a lot.
If you have this kind of problem to not go down to ATG , you could hit your glutes really good with wide stance sumo squat.
Sumo squats will hit your glutes even better than the traditional squat stance (shoulder width)
